Chef Raj welcomes you to 'Masala Night: An Indian-Inspired Dinner Party'. You will indulge in the wonders of Indian cuisine and the spices that create them!
This intimate dining experience will serve 5 traditional Indian dishes on March 30, 2023 for San Juan foodies to get a chance to try Chef Raj's menu and flavor profile. This event is hosted at Lela's Eatery where the bar is available to you for an additional cost.
About El Este Progressive Indian Restaurant
El Este is founded by Chef Raj and it means "The East" where Indian flavors originated.

Shai dum aloo [VEG] - is a popular North Indian dish made with baby potatoes cooked in a flavorful blend of spices, cashew paste, onion, saffron, and cream. The dish is seasoned with cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam masala, rose water and finished with a sprinkle of fresh coriander leaves.
Vegetable cutlet [VEG] - made with a blend of mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a selection of spices, coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried to crispy perfection
Kofta with cashew sauce - a deliciously soft and succulent ball of minced vegetables, minced wagyu beef & lamb cooked in a creamy and flavorful cashew sauce.
Chingri Malai Curry - is a classic Bengali dish made with succulent tiger prawns cooked in a creamy and coconut-based sauce. is seasoned with a blend of aromatic spices, including cumin, coriander, turmeric, and red chili powder, which add a distinct flavor to the dish.

Fish Sorse Bhapa - is a traditional Bengali dish, where I was born. It's made with fish fillets marinated in a spicy mustard and green chili paste, then wrapped with banana leaves and steamed to perfection in a mixture of mustard oil and water.
Butter chicken - chicken that has been marinated in spices & yogurt and then cooked in a creamy tomato sauce with a blend of spices such as cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam masala, cashew.
Trianga Pork - fine cuts of Costilla simmered in three (spinach, cashew, tomato) Este's special sauce.
Tandoori Hen - simmered in three (spinach, cashew, tomato) Este's special sauce.
