Chef Raj welcomes you to 'Masala Night: An Indian-Inspired Dinner Party'. You will indulge in the wonders of Indian cuisine and the spices that create them!

This intimate dining experience will serve 4 traditional Indian Fusion dishes on Feb 27, 2023, for San Juan foodies to get a chance to try Chef Raj's menu and flavor profile. 

About El Este Progressive Indian Restaurant

El Este is founded by Chef Raj and it means "The East" where Indian flavors originated.

MENU

Appetizers:

Chicken shashlik - Marinated chunks of chicken skewered and grilled or roasted to perfection. The marinade is often a blend of yogurt, spices, and herbs, providing a rich and tangy flavor to the chicken.

Haleem - Is a thick and savory stew made from a blend of goat meat and grains. The ingredients are slow-cooked to a porridge-like consistency, resulting in a rich, flavorful, and hearty dish.

Fish Sorse Bhapa - is a traditional Bengali dish, where I was born. It's made with fish fillets marinated in a spicy mustard and green chili paste, then wrapped with banana leaves and steamed to perfection in a mixture of mustard oil and water.
